Playtest 2 is now live


Good news at last: playtest 2 is finally available

Compared with the previous announcement, World 2 (factory) only includes the first level, but I’ve spent a lot of time polishing various aspects. Music, sound effects, graphics, almost everything has been reviewed, and many things have been redone.

The graphics are not yet final, but are approaching an acceptable result for a commercial game. I’ve also added a welcome screen that I’ve commissioned, just to make you want to launch the demo.

Finally, the build has been sent to Valve for validation, so if all goes well, the demo will be available on Steam.

In the meantime, I’m starting work on version 0.3.0. There’s still work to be done on the moving platform, which is essential if we’re to continue. Once this part is corrected, I’ll be able to implement levels 2 to 4 of world 2 (which I’ve already designed on paper)
